古典を英訳(部分的に)

拙者が英語学習のモチベーション維持のために部分的に翻訳した古典をまとめて掲載するでござる。翻訳する毎に追加していくでござるよ。

平家物語

「祇園精舎」の鐘の声、諸行無常の響きあり
沙羅双樹の花の色、盛者必衰の理を表す
奢れる者も久しからず、ただ春の夜の夢の如し
猛き者も遂には滅びぬ、偏に風の前の塵に同じ

The bell of "Jetavana Anathapindadasya-arama " tolls,
And says "there's nothing that doesn't change."
The color of Shorea robusta shows the truth
that Even prosperous people inevitably decline.
The proud perish like a dream on a spring night.
The hellion is defeated at the end
Same as the dust flown by the wind.

敦盛

人間50年、下天のうちを比ぶれば、夢幻の如くなり
一度生を得て、滅せぬ者のあるべきか

A 50 years whole life is like a dream compared with the wide world.
There is nobody who doesn't die.
