俳句を英語にすると

突然なのでござるが、拙者が最も尊敬する文人は松尾芭蕉でござる。ここでは芭蕉翁の名句の数々とその英訳を紹介させていただくでござる。一番上が芭蕉翁による原文、次が英訳文でその下が訳者名でござる。

時代を超え、国や言語を超えて愛される松尾芭蕉翁の見事な世界、それにしても俳句と言うのは日本の文学の中でも最も英訳が難しいのではないかと拙者などは思うのでござるが、多くの方々に訳されているのでござるな。拙者も俳句の翻訳にチャレンジしているのでござるが、ここに掲載するのは恐縮なので俳句・川柳・短歌を英訳に掲載させていただくでござる。
